Making A Purchase |
Making a purchase is very easy. Simply browse through our online catalogue and add any items you would like to your shopping basket. When you have finished shopping click on ‘Ordering’, the system will confirm the contents of your basket and any post and packing charges. Please complete all the details requested. You can pay by using our on line secure ordering system with your credit or debit card, by faxing or posting your details to us or by telephoning. You can pay by cheque which needs to be payable to Amba Marketing (UK) Limited. This is our parent company.
Stock Availability
We target to have ‘stock items’ in the warehouse at all times and available for despatch within two working days of receipt of payment in full. If we are out of stock of the item you have ordered we will advise you of an expected availability date (up to fifteen working days maximum usually). You have the option to wait for that item, order another item or to cancel your order. Should delivery be delayed beyond the expected delivery date, you will be contacted again with further information and options.
In regard to ‘special order items’ we will confirm the availability of the item from our manufacturer and then order the item for you upon receipt of payment in full. The maximum delivery time for these items is expected to be up to twenty eight days but we will advise you of an expected availability date or if our manufacturer is unable to supply.
Where payment is received via our secure server, your card will only be charged at the point when your order is ready for dispatch.
Declined Orders
If your card order is declined we will contact you by telephone or email to check that the card details are correct. |

Gift Wrapping Service |
We offer a gift wrapping service which is free of charge for orders over £100.00.
For orders below £100.00 there is a charge of £3.50 per item. This service includes a gift tag with your own message (add to the comments section when ordering) and ribbons.
To take advantage of this service, please add Gift Wrapping for Boys, Girls or Babies found within the catalogue.
Please advise the age of the child within the "Comments" field at the checkout and detail the message you would like adding to the gift tag in the same place. |

Shipping and Handling |
Delivery will be by ANC or APC couriers or recorded post and items should be with you within two working days from dispatch.
£5.50 post and packing is payable on orders under the value of £100.00.
Pricing is inclusive of VAT at the prevailing rate.
You should note that a signature is required for all orders
Goods can be shipped to Europe and we will advise you of the shipping costs and expected length of delivery upon application. Please note that your card will be charged in Pounds Sterling. Your card provider will charge in your own currency at their prevailing exchange rate along with any commissions and/or charges they may levy. This is beyond our control. |

Your Security and Credit Card Security |
You may elect to enter your payment details into our website during the checkout process.
We use the services of a third party (Secure Hosting Ltd) to provide specialist secure server hosting and you will be transferred to their server during checkout. At the point of transfer, you should see a small padlock icon appear in your browser indicating that a secure connection has been established. IF YOU DO NOT SEE THE PADLOCK ICON, DO NOT ENTER YOUR PAYMENT DETAILS.
The secure server uses 128-bit encryption to ensure that your details cannot be intercepted whilst they are transferred.
Payment is taken from your designated card at the point at which your order is ready for dispatch. Once payment has successfully been taken, your payment details are deleted from the secure server. |

Information that is held by the system when you place an order includes your name, email address, delivery address, telephone number and credit card details.
The system can analyse details of the products you have purchased. We can monitor customer web traffic patterns and site use which enables us to improve the service we provide.
Your confidential details will never be passed to a third party. We may from time to time email you with details of special offers or new products that may be of interest to you.

Order Cancellation |
You can cancel your order at any time up to dispatch for ‘stock items’.
If you wish to cancel a ‘special order’ item which has already been ordered from the manufacturer and cannot be cancelled you will be charged a 15% handling fee to cover our costs. NB. This only applies to items we would not normally hold in our UK warehouse. |

Returns |
We appreciate that occasionally customers may wish to cancel an order after receipt of goods. In this situation we ask that you contact Devon Toys within seven working days after receipt of your goods stating your invoice number, name, address and contact telephone number.
We will issue a refund, upon receipt of the goods in saleable condition including original packaging or send replacement goods to the same value as you prefer. However, please note that goods must be returned in the same condition as received, ie with pristine and unopened packaging. We will not refund p&p costs or gift wrapping costs.
You will need to pay for the return postage and the goods are your responsibility until received by us. We recommend that you obtain proof of postage from the post office when you return the goods to us for your added protection and ensure that you use a “signed for” and insured service. We are unable to refund or exchange used or damaged goods. Please note we will not accept the return of goods as “received damaged” where the delivery has been signed for and the delivery docket not marked as such.
In the unlikely that you have a warranty query please contact us to discuss the situation and for advise on how to proceed. If your items need to be replaced under warranty we will ask you to return them to us by secure method and we will replace them assuming that the manufacturer confirms that the item can be exchanged under warranty. |
